The freedom of gamblers is not blocked. Not even in detention. Nevada's State Penitenciary used to have a casino for inmates.

The industry of gambling is such an evolved industry in Nevada that even their state penitenciary had a casino inside for 35 years.

Yes, it is true that the inmates were able to play Blackjack, Poker, bet on sports etc.

It is interesting how the inmates were betting inside "Bullpen", this was a building made from rocks inside the of

the prison, in Carson City from 1932 to 1967. In that year, the new warden closed the casino saying

that gambling is harmful even for inmates.
