The company had just 5000 dollars in the account in the moment when Frederick Smith decided to fly in Vegas and to risk it all.

and in this way he continued his succesful business.

Fed-Ex was able to continue until it reached a profit of 11 million dollars in just 3 years.This event happened in 1973.
